Take Every Passage to Prayer - Volume 2, The Gospels

Father, use me to build the Kingdom of God. I step forward. I raise my hand. Connect me with opportunities for the gospel in my local community and help me to be faithful, showing the love of Christ to my neighbors who are seeking hope in a world of despair. Amen.
Father, the text tells us that Jesus continued to minister throughout the region of Galilee. We read that His ministry consisted of the following activities:
MINISTRY
Jesus met people. He shared the gospel with them. He healed them. He discipled them. For us that means we meet people, share our testimony, show acts of love, and mentor.
Why would Jesus do this?
COMPASSION
The text tells us that Jesus knew that there were crowds of people all over the region that consisted of people who were lost, destined to spend eternity away from Him. He knew there were countless souls in these crowds who would come to faith and be rescued if they simply heard the gospel. He knew that all that was needed was for believers to share the good news and the harvest would be plentiful.However, as is evident in the 21st century, the majority of believers are resistant to get involved in ministry. They are too busy with the circumstances and objectives of their lives to have compassion on the lost. If the world is dependent upon believers to wake themselves up and serve the Kingdom of God, the world is utterly lost. Only You, Father, can wake up reluctant believers and transform them into ministers of the gospel. You will only do that when Your people ask You to do that in prayer.

Father, believers should be praying fervently, asking You to raise up believers, just like themselves, who will do the work of ministry so that the crowds of lost people in their communities will be rescued from hopelessness. Father, believers need to:
